Origins

The water lily belongs to the Nymphéaceae family. Until the 19th century, only water lilies with white flowers were known in Europe. It is through crossings of European and tropical species that the colorful flowers of the Trocadéro basins were born in 1889 or in the painting “Les Nymphéas” by Claude Monet.

In collaboration with the National Museum of Natural History of Paris, Carrière Frères highlights an exceptional collection of unusual, exotic or historically charged plants.

Benefits

Soothing and relaxing, the fruity and aquatic notes of water lily help:

✓ Overcome insomnia;
✓ Fight against agitation and anxiety.

Carrière Frères

Carrière Frères, heir to the traditions of 17th century master candle makers, was founded in 1884 by the Carrière brothers. Innovative, they modernized the art of candles by transforming them into decorative objects. Inspired by the botanical explorations of the 18th century, the brand offers a wide range of candles with soliflore scents, celebrating biodiversity and the benefits of plants. Carrière Frères combines traditional know-how and contemporary spirit, promoting botany in each product.

Carrière Frères is committed to celebrating and protecting nature in its scented creations. The brand favors natural and renewable ingredients, produced mainly in France and Western Europe. Since 2022, all candles have been made from 100% vegetable wax from organic rapeseed. Carrière Frères collaborates with ESATs for the professional integration of people with disabilities.
